It’s been such a crazy nonstop summer of letting my babies go. Music has changed so much since I started firmly entrenched in dubplate culture – nowadays everything is so immediate and so accessible. I’m not complaining! It’s changed the pace of sonic trends so drastically though that it’s hard to keep up these days with what anyone’s doing. I may or may not be writing this just for my own faded memory 🙂
I’m in the middle of reconciling the classic songwriter with the fanatic audio geek and trying to figure out what that looks like. (I know what it SOUNDS like, but all that branding and marketing stuff? Shrug!)
